AssisTech Foundation wins Marico Indian Innovation Icons Awards

Mumbai, Mar 11: AssisTech Foundation (ATF), India’s first Assistive Technology (AT) ecosystem that focuses on empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), won the Indian Innovation Icons 2025 Awards on March 6th, 2025 at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. The award was presented by Sam Balsara – Chairman, Madison World.

ATF was selected as a winner in the Social category from over 1200 applicants, following a rigorous evaluation focused on Innovation, Impact, Scalability, and Long-Term Viability, by Marico Innovation Foundation (MIF), and Monitor Deloitte (MIF’s knowledge partner). The distinguished jury panel was chaired by Mr. Amit Chandra (Chairperson, Bain Capital India & Co-founder, ATE Chandra Foundation). The Foundation has built a robust portfolio of over 450 AT start-ups, helping impact the lives of 1 million PwDs since its inception and its acceleration programs have further accelerated nearly 54 AT startups. ATF’s innovative approach and tangible impact set it apart distinctively from other contenders.
